Mark - not bad! there were a few things I wasn't quite sure about, so I left them alone. Just for info:

  • the plural of nummuru/nummiru is nummura/nummira;
  • english -tion, and italian -zione nearly always becomes -zzioni - remembering that the stress is generally on that "o"
  • generally speaking, if you have a situation where you are trying to choose between e/i and o/u, if the stress falls on the e or o, it remains an e or o. So, as an example (amongst thousands), attruvari (truvari being the shortened version) becomes attrovu, attrovi, attrova, attruvamu, attruvati, attrovanu; past participle = attruvatu, present participle = attruvannu, etc. This is a very handy rule that will hold you in good stead. There are a few exceptions, mostly modern words, recent borrowings from Italian, and instances where the "o" and "e" is at the start of the word (but even here alternatives often exist, e.g. asempiu, asistiri, anuri, rrigginali, pinioni, etc.) --pippudoz - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 02:08, 11 Austu 2005 (UTC)
